During the summer season Foxlake Dundee will be open 7 days a week and our normal opening hours will be from 9am to 9pm. In the spring and autumn we will be open 6 days a week and the winter season 2 days a week.

Is the wakeboard cable tow noisy?

It is extremely quiet. The loudest noise coming for our facility will be people having fun, which will be quieter than any passing cars.

Does the wakeboard cable tow damage the environment?

The cable systems are environmentally friendly as they run quietly, do not pollute the environment and can be dis-mantled without leaving behind any waste. They are driven by a small electric motor. The movement of the wakeboarders, actually helps to oxygenate the water and improve the aquatic environment.

How do you know if the water is clean?

We will be monitoring and testing the water quality on a monthly basis. The results from the test will be displayed in and around our site. The water will be tested to the EU bathing standards.

Parties

What is the best party combination?

The most popular party combination is our Stand Up Paddleboarding followed by the Ringo Rides. The Stand Up Paddleboarding session last for 1 hour in total and includes loads of fun challenges and games. Ringo Rides are booked in 15 minute increments.

Which ringo should I book for my party?

We have two different ringo sizes, 2 man (small – £25) and 4 man (large – £30) all sessions are 15 minutes long and fully instructed by qualified staff. The small ringo can have up to 6 kids in a session and the large ringo can have up to 10 kids in a session. The kids will swap on and off the ringo in the 15-minute session.

E.g. if you have a party of 4 and book the Large ringo they will stay on the ringo for the full 15 minutes, if you have 8 in your party they would each get 7.5 minutes on the ringo.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

There is no minimum group size for a party, the maximum number of people we can take on our Stand Up Paddleboard session are 12 per hour so this may be the maximum for a party that wishes to be on the same SUP session.

All participants must be 8 years old on the date if the party to participate in Stand Up Paddleboarding and 6 years old to take part in the Ringo/Wakeboarding.

I don’t know final numbers – how many should I book for in the meantime?

We advise you book for the maximum number of participants to avoid disappointment if the session is full later when you try and add participants. We must know your FINAL NUMBERS 48 hours before your booking – we will otherwise have to charge you in full for the sessions and participants you have booked.

Preferably let us know 1 week before your booking, 48 hours is the ABSOLUTE LATEST we can amend a booking.

Must all parents of kids attending a party read and sign the terms and conditions?

No, if parents are happy for the party organiser to sign on their behalf of their kids. All kids must be signed for upon arrival. If you would like we will email you the terms and conditions so you can send to parents to read them before the party.
